Purely You Restoration

When did you come to a halt?

When did you realize you weren't dreaming anymore?

When did you stop discovering new things and exploring life's adventures?

When did you decide to give up dancing and moving your body?

When did you decide to stop believing in yourself?

When did you quit doing whatever it is that you aren't doing any more?

Babies and small children are unconcerned about what others think. Everything is incredible, feasible, and thrilling. They trust, they believe, they investigate, they experiment, and they keep trying. They are unconcerned with being observed, judged, or having something happen to them. They fall, but they rise again!

Then the following verse came to mind: Matthew 18:3(KJV) And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. (Emphasis added.)

Many people have these amazing dreams to make an impact on the world. It is fantastic to want to change people's lives, but then a lot of time comes all of the justifications, excuses, concerns, doubts, and so on. I'm sure you understand what I'm talking about. This will inhibit a person from pursuing their passions and making the huge impact they dream of doing.

So, once more, I ask:

When did you realize you weren't dreaming anymore?

When did you stop discovering new things and exploring life's adventures?

When did you decide to give up dancing and moving your body?

When did you decide to stop believing in yourself?

When did you cease doing ______________? (You fill in the blank.)

The truth is that it doesn't matter when you stopped; what matters is that you understand why you stopped. Now, I don't mean "why" in the sense of "what happened," but rather "why" in the sense of "why you decided to stop."

Let me put it this way: as children, you have experiences that cause your subconscious mind to make a decision, which then leads to the formation of a belief. To put it another way, your subconscious mind is a massive memory bank that stores your life experiences, memories, and beliefs in the form of stories. The stories are then used to keep you "safe." If you look at it from a different angle, it often keeps you stuck rather than keeping you safe. Either you're terrified of being hurt, judged, or making a mistake, or you're doing the same things over and over again.

You can praise your subconscious mind for performing its job and choose to dream, explore, dance, believe, and create whatever you want once you understand why.

What method did you use to inquire? It's so basic that it's been Nike's motto for years: "Just do it!"

Lay down on the grass, look up at the clouds, and imagine what you wish to achieve or be. Begin to write down your goals for yourself, your family, and your life.

Explore - take in the sights and sounds of the world around you. What do you see, hear, smell, and feel when you're alone? What do you wish to learn more about?

Turn on your favorite music and let your body express itself by dancing. STOP THINKING ABOUT IT! Just go for it!

Find someone to mentor you if you don't even know where to begin. A mentor, according to the Webster Dictionary, is a trustworthy counselor or adviser. Find someone who is already doing what you want to learn and ask them to teach you.

Everything is OUTSTANDING, POSSIBLE, and ENTERTAINING! Begin to believe, trust, explore, experiment, and try again. STOP worrying about what will happen to the rest of the world. Get back up if you fall!

You, yes you, who are reading this, have complete control over how your tale is written. You can either live according to the story your subconscious made up when you didn't know any better, or you can write the story you want to live into and then take action to make it happen.

Begin dreaming right now!

Begin exploring right now!

Begin dancing right now!

Now is the time to start whatever else your heart wishes!
