Documents of Research Benefits of the Emotion Code for Mental Health Conditions

The first study found that holistic therapy has "substantial efficacy" in treating self-reported anxiety, sadness, and post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms.

The first research investigation into holistic healing method indicates that those suffering from self-reported anxiety, sadness, and post-traumatic stress disorder reported significant changes in their symptoms after using The Emotion Code.

"Our findings add to the expanding body of knowledge about mental and emotional wellness. In "Changes in Self-Reported Depression, Anxiety, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Symptomatology from the Emotion Code Energy Healing Modality," authors Yuliana Gelb, Sara Castaneda, Lenny Castaneda, and Tim Allison-Aipa write, "The Emotion Code yielded significant decreases in reported symptomatology of all three conditions.""

“People suffering from self-reported anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder reported significant improvements in their symptoms after using The Emotion Code, the study found.”

People who practiced The Emotion Code reported benefits regardless of the intensity of their symptoms, according to a significant discovery.

"It was hypothesized that participants with lower anxiety, PTSD, and depression ratings would benefit the most from this modality because they have fewer traumas to release from the body and thus may feel relief more quickly and easily; however, results show that subjects with high and low symptomatology in all categories benefited in a significant and highly effective way," according to the study you may access here.

"Because The Emotion Code appears to provide stress reduction to its recipients," the study concludes, "it could be a beneficial tool for licensed therapists to use themselves for self-care, as burnout is on the rise among licensed therapists." "This technique could be used by therapists in conjunction with talk therapy for their clients."

The Emotion Code is an energy healing system developed by Dr. Bradley Nelson (D.C., ret.) to assist people to discover and releasing unpleasant unresolved emotions from tough and traumatic previous events. Dr. Nelson refers to these leftover emotional energies as "Trapped Emotions," and believes that they are linked to a variety of mental, emotional, and physical ailments. He has educated thousands of licensed practitioners worldwide over three decades to assist individuals to overcome physical and mental suffering by releasing their emotional baggage. He is the author of the best-selling book "The Emotion Code."

The study included 14 (9.6%) males and 132 (90.4%) females who were recruited from a pool of clients who were starting Emotion Code sessions for the first time in their lives. According to the study, they were recruited by Emotion Code practitioners and represent a demographic of people who would have signed up for the practice and paid for the sessions on their own. The following are some of the findings:

• Research Question 2 examined whether participants with PTSD and those without PTSD saw significant reductions in symptoms following therapy. Both groups' PTSD symptoms improved dramatically after treatment.

• Research Question 3 examined whether participants with various levels of depression (minimal, mild, moderately severe, and severe) experienced significant reductions in symptoms after therapy. For all levels of depression, symptoms of depression improved significantly following treatment.

• Research Question 4 examined whether participants with higher levels of symptoms experienced greater reductions in symptoms following treatment than those with lower levels of symptoms. The high anxiety group showed a greater reduction in anxiety symptoms than the low anxiety group. In the PTSD group, scores on PTSD declined more than in the non-PTSD group.

The Emotion Code appears to have a connection, but not a causal influence, on anxiety, PTSD, or depression symptoms, according to the study. Further research is recommended, including randomized trials with a control group and "a longitudinal study, to follow up after one year, then five years to evaluate if this modality's findings remain over time," according to the report.

"The findings of our study suggest that more inquiry is necessary," the authors write. "It may be advantageous to provide Emotion Code sessions as an option alongside other well-verified treatment modalities to patients seeking treatment for anxiety, PTSD, and depression, especially when the treatment is less intrusive and has shown to be extremely effective."
